Running down the coast of Columbia in
the rain. Following seas allow gentle motion. The inside public
spaces are busy today and the main dining room was especially popular
for lunch. The usual shipboard activities involving exercises,
guessing things, praying, card games, arts and crafts, eating tasty
things and learning about eating tasty things, dancing on a wobbly
deck and meeting like-minded people kept many guests occupied.
People are settling in to the trip now and on the whole seem a
congenial lot. The Captain assured us today that our arrival in port
tomorrow morning will be early, with the time of four o'clock
mentioned. Don't expect arrival pictures.
Our noon to noon run was
331nm, total cruise 2029nm. Cruising 13 knots at 185°.
Noon
fix was 03°
06.69'N and 080°11.72'W.
